Most commercial electrolyzers in use today contain polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFSAs). Yet PFSA's are in the process of being banned in many countries due to health concerns. Dioxide Materials membranes and ionomers are completely PFAS free. Some of our catalyst layers contain PFASs, but we are working to eliminate the PFASs. The result will be an environmentally friendly water electrolyzer system for green hydrogen production.
