Dioxide Materials Receives Phase II Award from EERE

Dioxide Materials was recently awarded a Phase II award from the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), as part the Energy Department’s (DOE) project selections for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) research programs.  Dioxide Materials was one of 11 small businesses to successfully demonstrate the technical feasibility for innovation.  Dioxide Materials worked on a hybrid chemical and biological process to create fuels and high value chemicals from carbon dioxide (BETO) during the first phase (Phase I) of their research and Phase II will provide funding to build prototypes or processes development.
